We are looking for Systems, Network & Security Administrator in Toulouse.

About the role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems, Network & Security Administrator to

join our team in Toulouse. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in IT

infrastructure, network administration, cybersecurity, and systems management to

support the evolution, security, and continuous improvement of the company’s

Information Systems environment. This role is crucial in enhancing the reliability,

scalability, performance, and security of the IT infrastructure.

You will work closely together with your colleagues in the IT Department, reporting

directly to the IT Manager and contributing to the implementation of the company’s IT

strategy and technology roadmap.

This role requires strong proficiency in systems administration, networking,

infrastructure security, cloud and on-premises environments, and troubleshooting

complex technical issues. A proactive mindset, attention to detail, and strong

communication skills are essential. The position offers the opportunity to work across a

broad technical scope and contribute directly to the evolution of the company’s IT

landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Administration & Operations

• Administer server environments, operating systems, and infrastructure services.

• Ensure platform availability, performance, and reliability.

• Maintain network and telecommunications infrastructures.

• Manage virtualization, backup, and storage solutions.

• Ensure operational excellence of infrastructure components.

• Contribute to performance monitoring and future infrastructure planning.

Infrastructure Projects & Evolution

• Participate in infrastructure modernisation and transformation projects.

• Translate the technical direction defined by the IT Manager into operational

solutions.

• Design detailed technical architectures and deployment plans.

• Perform installations, configurations, migrations, and production deployments.

• Test, document, and standardise implemented solutions.

• Proactively identify opportunities for infrastructure improvement.

Networks & Cybersecurity

• Administer network infrastructure (switching, routing, Wi-Fi, VPN).

• Manage security solutions (firewalls, filtering, access control, MFA).

• Contribute to cybersecurity policies, standards, and best practices.

• Manage vulnerability remediation and security patching.

• Support business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives.

• Participate in security audits and remediation activities.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of infrastructure and IT security.

• Support the implementation of security best practices and applicable

requirements.

Technical Advisory & Expertise

• Provide Level 3 support for complex technical incidents.

• Support the resolution of critical infrastructure incidents.

• Advise the IT Manager on technical decisions, opportunities, constraints, and

associated risks.

• Identify technical impacts and highlight potential risks related to proposed

solutions.

• Provide pragmatic recommendations aligned with business needs.

• Contribute recommendations for infrastructure improvements.

• Support the development of the IT Specialist's technical skills.

Operational Support

• Provide backup support for the IT Specialist when required.

• Assist with user incident resolution when necessary.

• Participate in major incident management activities.

• Contribute to support process improvement and knowledge sharing.

Documentation & Technical Governance

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation.

• Create and maintain infrastructure diagrams.

• Define and enforce operational standards.

• Conduct technology watch activities.

• Contribute to vendor and technical partner management.

What you need to be successful:

Operating Systems & Cloud Infrastructure

• Strong administration of Windows Server and Linux environments

• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory

• Administration of Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams)

• Good understanding of core infrastructure services such as DNS, DHCP, GPO

and PKI

Virtualization & Storage

• Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V or Proxmox

• Knowledge of backup solutions and disaster recovery concepts

• Familiarity with SAN/NAS storage environments

Networking

• Solid understanding of enterprise networking concepts, including:

o TCP/IP

o VLANs

o Routing & Switching

o VPNs

o Enterprise Wi-Fi

Cybersecurity

• Experience securing enterprise infrastructure through:

o Firewalls

o Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

o Identity & Access Management (IAM)

o System Hardening

o Vulnerability Management

o Backup & Disaster Recovery strategies

Automation & IT Operations

• Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools

• Scripting and automation using PowerShell and/or Bash

• Familiarity with ITSM platforms and technical documentation best practices

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Systems, Networking,

or equivalent experience.

Experience

• 5 to 10 years of experience in Systems and Network Administration.

• Proven experience maintaining and improving IT infrastructures.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft environments.

• Solid operational and security mindset.

• Experience with hybrid infrastructures is desirable.
