We are looking for a Junior Project Management Officer (PMO) in Toulouse.
About the role:
Pangea is looking for a motivated and structured PMO to join the Project Management Department.
The successful candidate will support the Project Managers in the day-to-day execution of multiple projects while contributing to portfolio planning, reporting, performance monitoring and business support activities. The role will also support internal project initiatives and commercial proposal preparation, providing visibility on workload, schedules, resources and project performance across the company.
As part of the continuous modernization of Pangea's project management practices, the PMO will also contribute to the adoption and improvement of digital tools supporting project execution, reporting and portfolio management. Working closely with the IT dept., the role will help identify opportunities for process simplification, workflow automation, data integration and the practical application of AI-powered solutions to improve efficiency and decision-making.
This position is well suited for a junior engineer or early-career project professional wishing to develop strong project management skills within a dynamic aerospace environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Multi-Project Support
Support Project Managers in the planning and monitoring of development projects.
Consolidate project information across multiple ongoing programs.
Support action follow-up and coordination between technical & operational teams.
Management Reporting & KPIs
Prepare weekly and monthly project reporting packages.
Consolidate project performance indicators.
Develop and maintain PM Dept. dashboards.
Support management reviews and steering committees.
Ensure consistency and quality of project data across the organization.
Contribute to workload and capacity analysis.
Project Planning & Resource Management
Consolidate workload forecasts and resource needs.
Support portfolio-level planning activities.
Business Development Support
Support commercial teams during proposal preparation.
Assist in the development of project execution plans for customer bids.
Support costing exercises related to project execution effort.
Internal Development Projects
Support engineering and management teams in the structuring of internal R&D and technology development projects.
Assist project owners in establishing schedules, deliverables and reporting.
Help monitor internal project progress and resource consumption.
PM Dept. Development
Contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO processes and tools.
Participate in the development of project management templates and standards.
Promote project management culture across the organization.
Support the modernization and deployment of PMO tools and digital workflows.
Identify opportunities for workflow automation and reporting simplification.
Support data consistency and integration between project management and business systems.
Participate in the implementation and evaluation of AI-enabled solutions supporting project planning, reporting and performance monitoring
What you need to be successful:
· Educational Background: Engineering degree (BSc or MSc) or equivalent. Specialization in Project Management, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related fields is an advantage..
· Experience: The position is open to: Junior engineers looking to transition towards project management, Early-career PMO or Project Engineers.
Previous experience in project coordination, industrial projects, engineering activities or consulting is considered beneficial but not mandatory.
· Technical Proficiency:

Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
General understanding of project planning principles.
Ability to structure and synthesize information.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Appreciated
Power BI or data visualization tools.
Familiarity with engineering development processes.
Fluent in French, written and spoken.
Interest in digital transformation, workflow automation and business process improvement.
Familiarity with low-code/no-code tools, collaborative platforms or automation solutions.
Curiosity for AI applications and data-driven decision-making.
Basic understanding of system integrations and digital business tools is a plus.
