We are looking for a Mechanical & Design Engineering Intern for a 6 months internship in Barcelona.


About the role:

We are seeking an intern specializing in Mechanical Design Engineering to join our Mechanical Engineering Team in Barcelona. The selected candidate will contribute to one or several of the following topics:

  • Mechanical design support, including CAD modeling, drawings, and BoMs
  • Development, maintenance and validation of design tools and scripts (Python)
  • Development, maintenance and structuring of a material property database
  • Support to turbomachinery design tools


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the creation and refinement of mechanical designs from concept through to detailed manufacturing drawings
  • Contribute to the development, maintenance and validation of in-house tools to support the design process (Python, Siemens Nx, Teamcenter X)
  • Create and maintain design documentation and design guidelines
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure technical consistency

What you need to be successful:

  • Background in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Materials Engineering
  • Solid understanding of basic engineering principles (mechanical systems, structures, materials)
  • Interest or experience in at least one of the following:

-CAD and mechanical design (NX, SolidWorks, CATIA…)

-Materials databases or engineering documentation

-Python scripting and tool automation

-Turbomachinery or rotodynamic behavior

  • Fluency in English (spoken and written)

Soft Skills:

  • Methodical and detail-oriented
  • Strong problem-solving mindset
  • Clear communication and documentation skills
  • Proactive and collaborative attitude
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment


Other useful skills:

  • Familiarity with PLM tools (Teamcenter) or data management
  • Knowledge of standard engineering references or codes
  • Spanish language skills
  • Final-year student in a degree related to Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a similar technical field
