We are looking for an IT Manager in Toulouse:

About the role:

As IT Manager, you will be responsible for leading Pangea’s IT department, defining and executing the IT vision and strategy, and ensuring that digital capabilities effectively support business growth and industrialization. You will drive the integration of an AI roadmap across the organization, enabling secure, efficient, and scalable use of AI tools while ensuring strong governance, cybersecurity, and reliability of IT systems. You will act as a key partner to Operations, Engineering, and Management, translating business needs into robust IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities

IT Strategy & Leadership

· Define and own the IT vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with company objectives and long‑term growth.

· Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and service orientation.

· Act as the main point of contact between IT and other departments, ensuring alignment and clear prioritization of initiatives.

· Establish and maintain IT governance, policies, standards, and best practices.

AI Roadmap & Digital Transformation

· Define and drive the company‑wide AI roadmap, ensuring safe, compliant, and value‑driven adoption of AI tools.

· Lead the integration of AI solutions (e.g., Copilot and other approved tools) into business processes to improve efficiency, decision‑making, and execution.

· Ensure AI usage complies with data protection, confidentiality, and cybersecurity requirements.

· Promote AI literacy across the organization through training, guidelines, and continuous support.

IT Operations & Infrastructure

· Ensure reliable, secure, and efficient operation of all IT systems, networks, and infrastructure.

· Oversee cloud services, on‑premise systems, user devices, and industrial IT interfaces when applicable.

· Manage IT service delivery, incident management, and user support to meet business needs.

· Plan and execute system upgrades, scalability initiatives, and lifecycle management of IT assets.

Cybersecurity & Compliance

· Define and implement cybersecurity strategies to protect company data, intellectual property, and systems.

· Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, internal policies, and industry best practices.

· Lead risk assessments, mitigation plans, and continuous improvement of security posture.

Vendors, Budget & Projects

· Manage IT budget, forecasting, and cost optimization.

· Select, manage, and negotiate with IT vendors, software providers, and external partners.

· Lead IT‑related projects end‑to‑end, ensuring on‑time delivery, quality, and alignment with business priorities.

What you need to be successful:

· Proven experience (5+ years) in IT roles with increasing responsibility, including leadership or management positions.

· Strong background in IT strategy, infrastructure, and service management.

· Demonstrated experience driving digital transformation and/or AI‑related initiatives.

· Solid understanding of cybersecurity, data protection, and IT governance.

· Ability to translate business needs into practical, scalable IT solutions.

· Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work cross‑functionally.

· Proactive, structured, and solution‑oriented mindset.

· Fluent in English, both written and spoken. French is a plus.
